The anticipated decrease in inflationary pressures is likely to raise
expectations for the Bank of England (BoE) to cut rates.
Investors predict that
the BoE will begin lowering interest rates starting with the June meeting.
Market speculation for European Central Bank (ECB) rate cuts in June has
increased, following BoE Deputy Governor Ben Broadbent's remarks suggesting
that rate cuts are probable in the summer.
Broadbent also noted that rates will
eventually become less restrictive.
